Their own songs
Panache wrote and played originals from the start. These are the ones that have made it off tape so far.
- We Gotta Make It
A Greenock rehearsal, captured on the old Akai ghetto blaster.
- Getting Closer
Recorded at the band’s publisher’s studio in London — Alastair Sinclair on keyboards and Derek Taylor on drums, with Pat, Alan and Dougie.
- Burn It Up
Rehearsing at the Red Dragon in Greenock. One take, totally live. Dougie’s song about violent extremism and the madness of crowds.
- Cold Night (jam)
Possibly Auchmountain Halls. A reggae version of a song they otherwise played straight.
- You Can’t Do That
Another rehearsal rescued from the vaults, never played live as far as anyone remembers.

Live at the Victorian Carriage
Recorded on two microphones into Dougie's old Revox, with the line-up of Robert, Alan, Pat, George and Dougie. In Dougie's words: these songs will sound best with a pint of lager in one hand and a packet of crisps in the other.
- Eleanor Rigby

- Ain’t It Strange
A beautiful ballad written by John Cooper, a friend of ours from Irvine — whose song “One of the Few” was recorded by none other than Jimmy Webb. Live at a busy Victorian Carriage: even with all the chatter going on, Pat’s soulful voice shines through.
- Look For My Light
We used to call it “Sentimental Lady”! I think they were Joan Armatrading’s backing band back in the day. Live at the Victorian Carriage, restored from the original tape.
The reunion, 2009
